New construction homes take a lot of planning. The kitchen, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and office cabinetry are no exception. It is best if you started thinking about planning these rooms with a kitchen designer as early as possible.

New Construction Process:

1: Meet & Greet

So, your builder has referred you to CHK; wonderful! To start the process, it is best to contact us via our web page (preferred) or via phone call. Our design team will reach out to discuss your project. We will ask you to send along the architect’s floor plans and appliance specifications if available. We have you complete a design questionnaire that helps us learn about your preferred design choices and how you and your family function in the home. Once you have completed your questionnaire, we jump right into the design process with floorplans and realistic renderings of the new spaces.

2: Design Review / Material Selections:

Once the design(s) are completed, it’s time for you to come into the showroom to view what we’ve designed and the initial pricing. During this time we will revisit your cabinetry line with door styles, colors, molding details, etc. that are within this price group.

3: Measure, Review, Adjust, Collaborate

Once the walls of your new home go up, we get right to work confirming dimensions. Often, physical site dimensions can vary from the original architect plans. We will make any needed minor adjustments. During all of this, we will collaborate with your builder allowing for a seamless finishing process.

4: Ordering & Scheduling

Once our measurements are confirmed and layouts are adjusted, we collect a deposit to place your order. We will stay in communication with your builder on scheduling deliveries and installations.
